Bellona's Chicago-Style Pizza was founded by Mike & Yasemin Kilic in 2001. Together, they established a loyal following in a city that is not lacking in pizza options. However, Mike & Yasemin separated themselves from the pack by making their dough in-house and using quality ingredients.

In 2022, Bellona's was purchased by the Torres family and a new era began. The patriarch of the family (Jorge) fulfilled his long-time dream of restaurant ownership that began with his nephew TJ, who also happens to be the nephew of Mike & Yasemin. With the encouragement of TJ and the rest of the family, Jorge worked side-by-side with Mike learning the ins and outs of Bellona's and getting the recipes down pat.

Sadly, TJ was taken from his family in a tragic accident 3 days before Jorge was scheduled to close on the purchase of the business. While both families experienced a tremendous loss, Jorge knew he had to persevere and continue the dream that he and his beloved nephew shared. We hope you stop in and enjoy our food that is made with the same pride that has been the cornerstone of the Bellona's tradition for over 20 years. As TJ would say..."We gotchu!"
